you get a lot of colors and I think it's great for beginners. I'm not a beginner, but I really wanted to expand my color palette. They're very thin and quite pigmented, but you really need to build them up. basically what i'm trying to say is that it looks like very, very cheap paint. It's also very messy because you have to unscrew the lid and then pierce the aluminum top with a pick at the top of the lid. The color seems to come out of the tube. As I said, this is normal for someone who is just starting out and may be playing around with it a bit. And I'll still use paint, but probably only for the background, and then paint over it with real paint. I mean high quality paint.
