Great skirt, order typical size

Needed this skirt for my daughter's pirate costume. You never know how the things ordered online will fit. This skirt has been sized according to the size chart shown here (which is often not the case). I was so concerned about the size that I ordered both the top and bottom, but their normal size - medium - fit like a medium. And the skirt is SUPER! It is well made and goes perfectly with tights and boots. I haven't written a review in years but wanted to share my experience with this item.
