Cute! I have a raised bed and needed something halfway up the bed for a small dog to jump on and then climb onto the bed. This trunk serves a purpose and gives me storage space. Sizing is just right for both height and length giving me room to get in/out of bed without getting hurt and he has room to jump up and down without hurting his little bones. The trunk offers sufficient storage space. All necessary parts are included (full assembly required). Assembly is very easy and took about 20 minutes. The instructions are in pictures (not words) but the pictures and assembly are very easy. However, do yourself a favor (unless you have Thor's arm strength) and use an electric screwdriver to install the lid hinges and support bracket. The screws are extremely painful to install with just a hand screwdriver (or the tiny 2-in-1 hex/cross wrench they include). This is not a super duper, heavy duty solid wood product. The frame parts correspond to a 1x2 chipboard in wood color vinyl. Cover and overall product is durable. Overall, it's amazing for storage, rustic looks, and ease of use (like a small dog jumping on a bed riser) as an item for regular everyday use (like a toy box for a violent child). ) or for someone to sit on - no matter how heavy I wouldn't recommend using it.
