Firstly, this little thing smells bad. I've smelled quite a few rancid odors in my entire life (I raised 2 kids) but rubber, silicone, whatever it is smells awful. Second, the suction power is strong. My drain wasn't clogged, it was just a little slow. So I decided to dip it to avoid using liquid channel cleaner. Just a few clicks and everything started to rise. However - I may have gotten it wrong but - when I removed the plunger it all flew back down the drain. I mean what should I do with it? It didn't look like hair I could pick up with my fingers; it was dirt and tiny particles that looked like crumbs. Of course, that left me with half a sink full of nasty water that needed to be drained forever! At the end of the day I just poured some drain cleaner in to clean it out. I wouldn't risk trying this in my bathroom (which is actually what I bought it for).
