Does not connect to 3G networks

The device was well packaged and arrived on time but I am very disappointed with its performance. I have two SIM cards installed in it from different service providers and none of them give me anything better than a slow 2G connection. The search for available networks from the device only shows the 2G network of each provider. I've tried both SIM cards in regular phones with connectivity and got full 3G service at near top speeds so I know it's the device and not the network. I prefer to use my cell phone. It was a waste of money to buy.
