1. The power connector pins were not positioned correctly causing the power supply voltage to be reversed and the fan not spinning. It was possible to remove the pins from the plastic connector and reinsert them in the correct orientation as shown in Photo 2. This fan is thicker and has thicker blades (15.2mm for the hub) than the original (10.9mm) so it protrudes slightly from the airflow cover (about 2.8mm for the hub, about 1.5 mm for the wings) (see photo). ).
