Used to install a mini split. Fits perfectly and the Schrader removal tip fits snugly and snugly onto the Schrader valve. Appion then expects you to retract the shredder, close the valve, and remove the back of the tool to connect the vacuum line. The problem is that after evacuating and removing the vacuum line, a small amount of air is introduced into the system when the schrader valve is reinstalled. I suggest adding a tee and valve to the gauge port to keep the schradder in the tool and under vacuum at all times. Never close the valve on the Appion instrument. I'm glad the gasket on the back of the Appion tool was able to hold plenty of vacuum while vacuuming, and I was then able to put the shredder back in while maintaining a good vacuum the whole time. Good product although I think they should change the design with a second port and valve next to the gauge port to use like me.
