Review on Deeper PRO Smart Sonar - Portable WiFi Fish Finder for Kayaks, Boats, and Ice Fishing on Shore by Adam Nikolz
The perfect sonar for ice fishing!
Used a Deeper Pro for ice fishing alongside a friend of mine who used a Vexilar Flasher. The holes in the ice house were about 4 feet apart. There was some interference from the Vexilar converter, but never mind, the Deeper Pro still worked well. In ice fishing mode, Deeper Pro performed as well as Vexilar and looked cleaner. I've seen fish arriving on Deeper Pro that never showed up on Vexilar. A cool feature is the recording ability. It's nice to look back and see what happened. The battery worked continuously for 4.5 hours and was still at 38%. My phone didn't last that long - I have a small phone battery with me so no problem (highly recommend). All in all a very cool product. Many times smaller than the Sensor, much less space in the ice house and much easier to use than the Wexliar.
