Update 5/12 I was using these micro spikes for hiking last weekend and one of the micro spikes broke. I've probably only used them 10 times since I bought them. A little disappointed but I was able to send it back and exchange it. Let's hope the first set wasn't great and the second set gets better.———Great micro lugs that work well in frozen snow and slush. Thanks to these micro spikes, I was able to walk at a normal pace. They stayed throughout my trip. The only complaint, which may be personal preference, is that every time I lifted my foot I felt the metal dangle a bit, which took some getting used to. A total of $11 for an easier and safer hike in the snow.
