My first impression was that the tool is smaller than I imagined. Nevertheless, it fits perfectly in my hand. I've used various cuticle removers in the past with consistently poor results. I'm prone to bad cuticles that sometimes spread like wildfire. Partly due to a bad habit of biting off ends or neglecting to clean them over time. This tool was amazing! It not only pushes back the regrown cuticles but also cleans the nails of regrown skin. I was surprised. I didn't have to use scissors to cut them. The tools allowed me to do both - push them back and peel off the excess skin. I am very happy with this tool. I really see the benefit of the smaller size of this tool. It's more discreet and the leather case doesn't make it bulkier. I don't feel like I stole my wife's beauty tool. That's a plus for me.
