Works well enough but I was disappointed when it arrived. The angled end was slightly chipped and the pointed end has a smooth tip after about two uses. I've been procrastinating on ordering this for a long time but after seeing it in action several times I finally ordered it. It's worth the price and its little storage box is perfect! After applying some cuticle remover, I gently push back the cuticles with the beveled edge, then massage them back and forth a bit to quickly and easily remove loose, dead skin. I love glass nail files as they are the only ones I use on my natural nails so glass cuticle stick was an easy task for me.
