Review on 60 Degree V Groove 2 Inch Diameter Shank by Jose Cruz
3 flutes are good for a cleaner cut, bits are not.
3 edges are good for a cleaner cut but the blades don't stay sharp for long. I've only used one of these bits on my CNC router, I have no freehand experience.
