This is the kind of thing that, if you need it, then you REALLY need it. This is really tough cable. There are all kinds of things I need to fix, mostly outdoors, and this can really help. We have a huge deck that is always in need of maintenance. We also have a fence that really ought to be replaced We also have some old trees and this stuff can help stop them falling in the wrong places. You get quite a long amount of cable and you cut it to the length you need. You also get some bits that you can crimp on the end of a piece you've cut to stop it unravelling. Tie this round something that you want to stay in place and it will stay in place. (Maybe not a whole big tree - but even then you may be able to use this to control how a tree falls.)
