I've put 50 miles in my new Switchback Iso and am very impressed. These shoes don't have the usual plate in the outsole to protect against sharper rocks, which was an issue. These shoes handle everything but the most technical, unkempt trails. The lacing wheel seems useless but actually saves a lot of time and the ratcheting sound is reassuring. I overstretched them on my left foot on a run, causing an uncomfortable feeling on the top of my foot, but I attributed it to user error. Compared to previous shoes, the toe box is wide enough to make me feel very comfortable. Thumbs up!
