Mostly ok. Controls are faulty and the strobe feature can’t be turned off

Might have just received a slightly defective unit, but I have noticed that after a short amount of time the lights will constantly go into flashing mode. Even after you turn them off they turn back on at full brightness flashing very fast. Absolutely nothing prevents them from doing this. I have tried every mode and setting via the remote and it always goes back to this terrible flash mode.Why is a strobe like effect even a feature? It’s so pointless.
