As a software developer I'm a big fan of screen real estate and have used multiple display types to get the best quality in 4k. I bought this screen as the main screen of three monitors at a comparable price. After adjustment, I found it dim with no color vibrancy and very low contrast even after adjustment. The deep shadows you would expect on an HDR display are underwhelming, and bright colors appear dull. When I connected to multiple TVs throughout the day to try to get a lot on the displays, I also noticed shading and lighting artifacts. just like a 4k LCD TV. Having paid a few hundred bucks extra for this, thinking it was a monitor, I expect the quality to be the same. Instead, it behaves like a television marketed as a computer display. The stand is static and actually comes with a remote control to control the settings. No DisplayPort, just HDMI. For the price you save money and better buy a much cheaper 4k TV at your local electronics store.
