Couldn't help but give five stars for thickness, warmth and transparency. This is an absolutely amazing little computer. If you are a hacker. (hacker in the old sense). This little thing was designed to be cheap enough to put in the hands of any student. An amazing entry level computer for everyone. What's more, it's so cheap that you can buy one, put it into a project like a weather station or whatever, and then buy another for something else. Its main feature is GPIO. General purpose I/O ports. It has a 40-pin connector that can be controlled by the PI to interact with real world sensors and outputs. It contains many programming tools for both novice and experienced programmers. The reason I bought it is that the default operating system is Linux and one of the main programming languages is Python. I've learned both recently and am working on a project using them. Attention! There are hundreds of aftermarket add-ons available and you will find this to be your new hobby. And we all know that a hobby means spending money :)
