One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

Purchased for use with the Canon 50D. There is no comparable Canon EF-S glass to this one. After using my EF-S 18-200, it is hard for me to believe that cheaper glass can provide images that are not only not poorer but, in some instances, are even better. Absolutely necessary for the crop. You can certainly purchase an L-ku, but in order to take advantage of even two-thirds of the capabilities it offers, you will need to put up with distortions and make use of glass. Has some pros A genuine technological miracle: for the low-low price of $6,500, you can purchase a universal long-range lens that has autofocus, a stabilizer, and not a particularly poor aperture. Excellent for reportage, portraiture, and landscape photography at a narrow angle. Having this drawback: From a purely objective standpoint, they are not and they cannot be for that price. In my opinion, the design is quite flimsy and made of plastic; even the components that link the pieces aren't made of metal. The real operating range is somewhere between 70 and 200, with soaps at 55 and 250. During the focusing process, the front lens will slide outward, which might be an inconvenience at times.
