Do not recommend this product for actual room humidification. My girlfriend and I just moved to Boston and with winter approaching the air was very dry and we bought TWO cactus humidifiers for our bedroom. We were very excited when they arrived, after using them for the first night they automatically turned off and we had to keep turning them back on. We didn't notice any difference in humidity in the room, and even with the two of us it's still not much. But at least they are aesthetic since they do not dampen our space.
