My granddaughter loves them.

Not as easy to wash off skin as I would have expected - fortunately there have been no attempts to color clothes. I would recommend starting the ink out of the sight of the child - my granddaughter seemed to think that it was necessary to bang the markers onto the paper, since she saw me doing so to get the ink flowing. The included book has been put aside until she is older (we started with these when she was not yet 2). Interestingly, she will open them only with her right hand and close them only with her left.
