More expensive and better options available

I finally ordered this on sale after much percale research. This was a big disappointment. The slate gray and milky color were washed out, neither was a nice color, the sheets looked old because the color had washed out. The packaging is excellent but I didn't like the feel at first touch but it can change so I decided to keep a set and washed the pillowcase in the cold then ironed it well. abominable. the pillowcase is sewn a little twisted and the end cup is too wide so that it is not possible to wring out a good cover. The quality of the material is poor, it feels like a thin poly-cotton fabric. It still had a slight sheen after washing the fabric, which is not pleasant. I sew and most of the time I can feel the fabric. The percale is wrinkled, but flattens out when it's damp and put to bed, for example. It will look almost pressed. And the feeling after washing is great, not slippery but leaves you like. Amzn by Sleepbella has a 600 white damask duvet cover print - it's percale. You will immediately understand what I mean. Or Vafair has a percale of 300 tf. very pretty and definitely a percale. They can be a bit thick but are nice and a good price. They're probably cotton, but feel very similar to the old polyester/cotton set I have from Target. I took them out for comparison and yes.
