I had to quit my job after filing a work injury claim for numbness and pain in my carpal tunnel. After about 20 minutes with a regular mouse, my index and thumb fingers started tingling and going numb. It was terrible. I went to the doctor who prescribed steroid pills and had to work with an ice pack wrapped around my wrist for relief. Other colleagues who had the same problem had to have surgery and then go back to work. My doctor ordered me to take more breaks from work, but that was just a band-aid to solve the problem. After a few months and more work with a regular mouse, it reappeared. I've been looking for a solution for a long time and decided to try this vertical mouse. This mouse saved me from all the discomfort. And the rotating all-round lights look very cool. However, there is one thing I absolutely hate. Forward and Back buttons located just above and below your thumb when holding this mouse. I keep clicking these buttons on my website and losing all my information. Vertical mice with buttons further apart are more expensive. I can just take a screwdriver and pry them out or super glue them so they don't stick. Hope that helps. Much luck.
