Yes! It's not a cross shredder, but I knew it! I already had one of these (or a similar one), but Walmart no longer sells a "binless" shredder that everyone really needs. I can attach motorized blades to ANY suitable container! Why pay for the extra EXTRA mess? I have lots of old shredder bins, or even a small recycling bin will do. I also love that it's always on and ready for my grind without having to use extra power to light a "ready lightbulb"! Perhaps if the buyer has young children, they need such safety gear! I will buy this model again if I can still find it somewhere. I love it! It is perfect for the home user's personal shredding!
