Not for extreme temperatures.

IMS 4.0 lower tank cover for my xr650l. It held up as it should and looked fine but the glue had cooked and I had to use rtv to hold it in place but it's still there and doing its job of bouncing heat off the gas tank.

Pros

Stickier: Steelsoft HVAC tape is made of 3.6mil thick aluminum foil and high quality acrylic adhesive, sticky and stable at low and high temperature. Condition (-20 C to 130 C), UV, moisture and heat resistant, suitable for indoor and outdoor insulation of cold and hot air ducts.
