So I think it was advertised very rightly, the listing warns very explicitly that it may cover your sockets, in which case it is useless. So I bought it thinking I could get it to work but it didn't help. don't look good. I install - yes, it closes the power connections. Do not go. But I bought two of them, for two monitors. What if I use the second to fix it, is it possible? What I did was take the first bracket and only attach it to the top 2 screws (so the plate connects to the TOP of the monitor, with the bottom 2 plate screws in the top 2 holes, only 2 screws holding it on the spot). What's yours? Space - Space for the power cords - there is now about 1-2 inches of free space behind the monitor without a panel where you can route the power cords. As for height, you won't gain height by doing this, it's break even. I then place the SECOND Vesa adapter on top of the first one, this is where you gain height. So, the monitor is attached to the first two VESA adapters with 2 screws, on the second VESA adapter with 4 screws, on my bracket with 4 screws. This allowed me to reach the required height I needed. Is it under guarantee? I highly doubt it's covert. But it's a good deal, they sell 2 pieces for one monitor and don't have to cover it. I ended up buying 4 of these, 2 for each of my monitors. Even if this covers the power/video slots with the plate, you can make it work, you just need to buy double the quantity and be very careful because you will violate the purpose of use.
