I use a large towel to dry my 6ft x 7ft shower. The shower is so big that the jet from my head doesn't hit the walls but I get a jet off the floor. I also have a lot of condensation on the two outer walls. Since my house is brand new, I take very good care of the shower. I mop as much as I can but it's not effective on my tiles. Then I use a towel. I'm not just drying the face of the tile, I'm pressing down firmly on the grout to dry it. After 5 weeks I see no damage to the fabric or finish of the towel. I scold the towel on the grout and it shows no side effects and doesn't leave a "fluffy" feeling. I wish it was a bit bigger because it gets quite wet before I'm done. The 2" x 4" floor tiles are not very easy to clean, requiring you to vacuum up a lot of water. I definitely prefer this microfiber cloth to an old cotton cloth.
