This is a nice little kit for those who are just getting started with stamping. The plates are strong enough and the drawings are deep enough to be lifted. The design isn't necessarily my favorite, but as I mentioned, I used it for learning. The plates MUST be cleaned before use and most importantly the stamps MUST BE PRIMED before use. You can lightly prime your stamps with a fine file or sandpaper, this will remove the top layer and allow the polish to transfer to the stamp. You can find a YouTube video for this. All in all I think this is a great value kit for beginners if you are patient and follow the steps above.
