This drill worked well and drilled about 20 holes in my house to install a 2" central vacuum tube. It drills holes very quickly but requires a decent powered 1/2 inch drill bit. Had to use a corded drill. The only issue I had was that the tip of the auger bit was not secured, so be sure to use the hex key provided to tighten it before using the bit. If you're installing the middle vacuum tube I would consider going a little larger (2 3/8") as I had to clear every hole before I could thread the tube through. This provided a good fit but also made it difficult installing something.
