This is THE BEST! My hair has changed with age; It used to hold curls well, but once it turned gray it just got dry and frizzy. I've tried hot rollers, velcro curlers, flat irons, flat irons, curling irons - anything to add some flair to my fine, wavy/curly, shoulder length, color treated hair. I saw that Miracurl had really good reviews so I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. Curls last for several days, become soft and elastic. You need to remember to change the position of the side of the head you are working on - right, left or alternate. I chose this Conair because it can alternate curls. I just can't say enough about how this works for my hair. It takes about 8-10 minutes to complete the work. Someone with thicker hair will probably take a little longer. And I only use the product for the roots plus heat shield - no other products. I also like that there is an option to use steam as it seems like it's gentler on your hair. can you tell i really like it
