Check the documentation to make sure all shipping materials have been removed from the printer. I also recommend watching Lexmark YouTube videos. By default, the menu on the printer is ready for iOS or Android application control. I gave up this option when I had an ethernet connection to the network. After the menu and save it said it was connected and the IP address was displayed. I then switched to a Windows 10 PC and added a printer. It appeared. I changed the default name and printed the test. It worked!
