Easy ethernet print setup

Check the documentation to make sure all shipping materials have been removed from the printer. I also recommend watching Lexmark YouTube videos. By default, the menu on the printer is ready for iOS or Android application control. I gave up this option when I had an ethernet connection to the network. After the menu and save it said it was connected and the IP address was displayed. I then switched to a Windows 10 PC and added a printer. It appeared. I changed the default name and printed the…

Never again with Lexmark - NIE

Terrible. Lexmark made this printer so difficult to set up that I'm throwing it away and buying a Brother. There are no words in the instructions, just a series of diagrams - so nothing to explain anything. Okay, the initial setup is very similar to all laser printers; Remove the tape, shake the cartridge, etc. Pretty standard. Bluetooth setup problem. I specifically wanted a wireless printer. We've had them before and we love them. I only had a Brother printer which I didn't have when I needed

If you use COMCAST as your ISP, DO NOT buy this printer!

This Lexmark printer encountered a problem I've never had before - AFTER purchase and AFTER delivery when we couldn't connect the printer to my internet I started browsing the Lexmark website explore to see what could be problem. It turned out that the Lexmark software had some "problem" with COMCAST (and another ISP whose name I can't remember) as the ISP. You must CALL Lexmark and speak to a technician to receive a software fix. I found out at 6:00 p.m. on Friday evening. Lexmark does not…
