As with this year's Honda air conditioners, the magnetic clutch ring no longer works. Although a new clutch is available, the simplicity and savings in repair costs compared to this new model made this purchase the right choice. I recommend draining/measuring the oil from the old block to set the oil level in the new block. Also, open AC lines are a really good opportunity to replace Schrader service valves that leak over time and are cheap compared to adding more AC in the event of a leak.* This unit has been in constant use since it was installed in August and not a single squeak or problem from this compressor.
