Direct replacement and OEM part for my 2006 Acura TL. Works like a charm and my AC is freezing now. No changes required. The compressor is not filled with oil. I had to add some mops, about 2 ounces of oil. ALSO, MAKE SURE YOU REPLACE YOUR RECEIVER/FILTER!

Ready to use. Neither box was damaged, the compressor pulley was bent and the o-rings were missing. I could try to order another one but since it has to be brand new I don't have to wait for another one to arrive. I'll take photos after work today.

Good price but instructions on how to add oil were almost useless. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the poor instructions. Bottom line, he was already at the oil. I added about 2 ounces (PAG 46) just in case. Works like a champ just in time for the Alabama heat!

Easy to install once you get access to it. You Tube is very helpful with instructional videos. After installation and assembly everything worked perfectly. Best price I could find for an OEM compressor. My car is a 2004 Accord V6 4 door. I spent $240 on the compressor and dryer, along with 11 hours of my labor, and that's more than the $1400 the shop asked for.

As with this year's Honda air conditioners, the magnetic clutch ring no longer works. Although a new clutch is available, the simplicity and savings in repair costs compared to this new model made this purchase the right choice. I recommend draining/measuring the oil from the old block to set the oil level in the new block. Also, open AC lines are a really good opportunity to replace Schrader service valves that leak over time and are cheap compared to adding more AC in the event of a leak.*…

If you buy an OEM air conditioner compressor at this price you can't beat it. Functions. Bought for my Acura 2004 tl. I would give 5 stars if it came with an A/C hose adapter. They say to use your old one from your AC compressor. Aha! Only if you can remove it without breaking the bolt, which is what happened. I unscrewed one screw and the second broke off. The size of these bolts is small, around 5.5mm, an odd size even if they were trying to penetrate oil. Looked on the internet, no one sells

I modified mine and with the right tools you probably can too. I believe my tools included: upper radiator hose when changing dryer) long pry bar - I bought a set of TEKTON pry bars here, a set of RevainA/C gauges and a vacuum pump - I bought them from Harbor Freight and a Craigslist pocket thermometer - I bought a Supco 1.75 inch here at Revain.
