After reading the comments on the grips I was concerned when my filter arrived. And of course, once I installed it, the items stuck to almost any load. Then the friend literally tinkered a little. She removed the filter and found tons of old lint accumulated at the bottom of the trap itself - in the hole where the filter was placed. Never thought to check there or obviously clean it up to this point. After some digging with a coat hanger and other handy tools, we cleaned the old one and put the lint filter mesh back in place. It fitted perfectly and we haven't had a single trace since.
