They are a great space saver in any regular car or work vehicle, a little light for easy dumping and not for long-term DOT work are suitable. They might be fine for a valet, but they can be run over. A regular cone would have ripped the wheel arch off the car, but they didn't damage my cone or damage the car. They are easy to store, light weight and easy to unfold and get out. That's a great idea, but cheap plastic bases, while lightweight, are utterly useless in real road conditions. it's raining, but even then I don't think they can hold up if someone steps on them. The cones are made of quality material and construction, both fabric and plastic rings. I think they are the same size as regular 28 inch cones, but when all four are stacked the collection is about half the size of a single cone. The carrying case is not the biggest criticism at all.
