Review on ๐Ÿ”ช WENKO Slide Refillable Wrap Dispenser: Convenient Aluminium & Plastic Tin/Foil Cutter in Green by David Pack

Revainrating 4 out of 5

You must "click " (press) VERY hard. And let rise, then pull to break

This requires more detailed instruction, you need to "click" or press VERY STRONGLY on the top to start the cutter, release, THEN the slide pull out. At first I was very disappointed and was about to pitch up so I went online to read the reviews and see what I had missed but there weren't any. I have another dispenser that I really LOVE that cuts with a slider so I thought about buying one of these but I really like that it's plastic instead of cardboard and has a clear window to look through You can see how much foil you have and It's thinner and lighter than other tailors so it fits better in my closet. I looked at this page again and saw a "click" in the title. I took it out of the donation box, put foil inside and tried to understand the "click". IT says "click" and I pushed down and heard a click, but the film still broke. On my other brand foil cutter, it has a "click to lock" for storing and it takes a very strong push to lock it. Connect the dots, I tried the same kind of print for this on foil, voila! You have to push very hard from above so the teeth pierce the foil before pulling, this will "puncture" the foil. then you have to let go, otherwise the film will stick to the plastic, if you let go the film tears easily. I think I like the sliding mechanism more, it's definitely more intuitive, but like I said, I like the size, composition and body design more. Now that I understand how it works, it's back in the drawer filled with foil and I'm happy. One star lost means disappointment because the instructions are not clear.
