Heating and cooling work great. The other two hose blocks often have a noticeable negative pressure because they are poorly sealed on the inside. This block is very well sealed except for a few small holes. Quietest device I've ever had, easy to program, decent hose attachments, no vibrations so far. Vibrations are well isolated and not transferred to the laminate like in my other devices. The only downside I noticed at the moment is the ventilation on the condenser side. The exhaust fan isn't very powerful (for noise reduction I think) so it doesn't push the exhaust far enough away from the air intake using the stock bracket. With an internal temperature of 24 °C and an external temperature of 26 °C, the temperature of the inlet and outlet hoses is 39 °C and 42 °C, respectively. My other Haier device maintains hose temperatures of 29°C and 45°C. Disconnecting the inlet hose from another window 10 feet away has greatly improved efficiency and productivity. Updated Jan 2020: Works great as above except for the recent cold snap. The exhaust coils freeze and the heating capacity drops dramatically. This unit does not appear to have a defrost cycle to maintain performance in cold weather. Doesn't affect my rating as no device is advertised with this feature.
