Perfect for my use

Yes the seat is higher than a dining chair but I'm only 5ft 3" tall and I can sit with no problems. .I didn't smell at all. The blue color is very nice. The sides/arms are low so they don't get in the way when turning. Yes the seat is hard/hard but I'm fine. I bought this chair to work with a Heywood Wakefield 1950 Vintage table and it couldn't be better!
