The instructions don't mention oiling or flouring the metal frame before use, which is a pretty important detail to just drop. After the first dozen became hopelessly stuck and I had to scrape them out of the frame, I wiped my tears and started over. I sprayed liberally olive oil on the metal frame and bottom of the plastic mold and the next 4 dozen came out of the mold easily and unharmed. Some other advice I learned the hard way. I found rolling out the dough in mode #4 was the right thickness. Make sure the dough isn't too dry or it will tear when you push the plastic mold in. Also, I found that a meager tablespoon of filling was the perfect amount. I ended up with just the right size cookie scoop that made filling the cookies quick, easy, and consistent.
