I'm in the tech industry working on a product called Southwest Microwaves Intrepid Perimeter Monitoring System, it's their legacy Micro Point system (not II) and modules communicate via RS-232, well I thought I was ready to serve this client site until I plugged in an older USB to RS-232 adapter and couldn't find the COM port(?) so opened it I checked device manager only to find out what its driver is no longer supported by microsoft! AAAAAAAAAA! Free Windows 10! However, I remembered having this one I bought a month ago in my laptop bag, pocketing it and WAMM-O I was YNN like FLYNN. Thanks again! Yes, it really saved the day for that support call.
