This lens has many problems. The auto focus function does not respond immediately to pressing the shutter button. Also, the autofocus was very slow to focus when compositing the image in the lens. In other cases, the lens did not respond at all to pressing the shutter button. Lots of errors due to this kind of errors. Also, when composing an image through the viewfinder, the image moved slightly down and to the left as the lens fixed its new position. It also delays image capture, as this aberration is sporadic at best. I'm wondering if this lens has internal issues or if it's not compatible with the Canon EOS 80D. I am dissatisfied with this lens. In my 55+ years of photography, this is the first Tamrom lens I've had problems of this magnitude with. Help?
