Review on Efficient Rotating Tree Stand: Perfect for Artificial Trees Up To 7.5 Feet Tall by Jimmy Hargrove

This looks like the same base my mom had on the spinning tree 10 years ago. She ripped off the plastic equipment, so I wanted to find a new base. With a decent rating I hoped everything would be fine. Mom's tree was a 7 foot tree. So everything should be fine. Everything worked great for 24 hours. I replaced the fuse and it ran for about 2 hours then the replacement fuse blew. Aside from the securing issue, the stand didn't fit snugly, causing the tree to wobble a lot. Instead of buying replacement fuses I bought a large gold metal stand designed for a 9 foot tree with adapters for the size of the trunk. The new database has been running for a week without any problems. It's 4 times more expensive, but the metal stand is worth the reassurance.
