I have been working as a carpenter for about 2 years. This is my first panel cutter. Love the fact that it comes in a nice case to keep everything together. It came with a DVD (tiny size) and a large fold out illustrated manual. Lots of pictures make it easy. I planned on something oak 3/4" thick and 2" wide. I drew my doors thinking I had all my sizes. However, I forgot to add 3/4" to the length of the guides. After reviewing the instructions, I saw that they clearly describe that instruction. I was surprised at how many different profiles were available. Freud website for comparing profiles. Having used the Freud set, I'm seriously considering getting new bits. My cheap MCLS kit just doesn't compare to the Quadra Cut. Edit: After a year of occasional use, I'm still very satisfied with you.
