Works as expected. The software is still clunky and not easily bypassed like most DVRs I've used. The management is tolerant and was able to get the 2 analog cameras to work and record. There is movement, line crossing and intrusion, the latter two seeming aimed at recognizing an approaching person. Little did I know there wouldn't be a remote control. So everything has to be done with the mouse. It's bulky, but nothing was advertised, so the buyer paid more attention than I did. The alarm function works and the motion detection works. I'm still figuring out how to navigate through recorded events to find something. Overall so far so good.
