These lightweight switches should work just fine. Honestly I would give 5 stars if there were no instructions. So here is the installation procedure. Separate the top and bottom of the switch. The heart of the switch is a small rectangle that fits into the ground. Look closely at the heart of the switch and you'll see a slightly larger opening on either side. Most electrical wiring has two insulated wires that are often connected into one cable. Separate the two wires a few inches right where you want the switch, cut one wire in half there, and then strip the two ends about a quarter of an inch. If you have a very small wire, such as a Christmas lightbulb, twist and bend back the exposed wire where it is insulated or not, then insert that end into one of the two large holes on the switch core. Repeat on the other side of the heart switch, then place it in the rectangle below. Pull the wires through the switch, install the spring on the core, put on the top and screw it in place. Hooray!
