A beautiful hive box. Nice parts overall and easy instruction. A good starter hive or decorative piece while researching Beekeeping. Ultimately, a horizontal hive is better for the hobby. There was one screw lacking. The nice wax coating is on all wood box surfaces. The fit is perfect. The 16 hive frames are easy to build, plastic foundation fits in the grove well. I pre-drill a shallow hole for the nail to put the frames together.
