Reason for purchase: 1. Required to supply the required voltage (12V DC) and current (5A) to a full-fledged single color LED strip (LEDMO 5630 LED Strip). Place of use: 1. Stands on the kitchen worktop, in the corner, both during use and when idle. 1.a. Table top - laminate Use results: 1. Successfully fed the entire LED strip and so for 3 months without any problems. 1.a. Typical usage is 4 hours per day, continuously. 1.b. Disabled when not in use (socket not connected to wall switch).2. Feels warm but not unbearable.3. Includes a green light to indicate it is connected.
