Budge car cover does not conform to the standard. The case was purchased new in 2017. The car that the cover protects sits in a closed garage 99% of the time. 1% of the time the vehicle is outdoors in direct sunlight, but without rain or disruptive weather. In February 2020, the car's coating began to fall apart. The stitching began to fray, the topcoat faded and thinned almost to the point of transparency, and the undercoat, which was in contact with the paintwork and body of the car, began to shed the brown topcoat all over the car's paintwork. After the car cover is removed, the paint and any surface that touches the car cover is covered with a thick, almost sticky film. This film is brown and not easy to wash off. I would not recommend this car cover. In April 2020 a 'second' Budge A-3 Tan 60x51 cap (same new cap) was purchased to replace the original cap. Note: The classic car is stored in the garage with the Budge cover. The "second" Budge Cover didn't even last 4 months. The same problem reappeared; the cover began to fade, falling apart, leaving a powdery film on the machine. We strongly advise against buying this Budge case.
