Far exceeded my expectations. I was just looking for a shoe to wear outside when I let the dogs out. These are warm, comfortable and stylish. They dont look or feel cheap in any way. I wear them everyday even to do more than just let the dogs out. I think I could actually pull off wearing them with jeans and not looking like I am wearing house slippers. The unanswered question is durability. I havent noticed any unusual wear or any place on them that looks like its getting ready to fail (no loose strings, peeling, or detachment). I think someone posted that the back lip doesnt come over the wearer's heel which is kind of true if that matters. I have noticed though that as they are breaking in, it kind of does. As the shoes break in, your foot pushes farther into the front of the shoe (as long as you order the appropriate size) and that lip at the back of the shoe starts to "stand up" behind the heel. However, the shoe is not made for that small heel lip to hold the shoe securely on your feet. With reference to size, treat these like you would a pair of pool slides. If you are at the top of your size or into the half size between, order the next size up. I wear 10.5 mens and ordered a size 11 which is a perfect fit. These are super comfortable - so glad I have them and so happy to recommend them.
