Update: never worn or attempted to repair. I was too nervous he could catch my hair. I also found a few other oddities related to the gem's connection to the base. Just sending back. Still cute but poor workmanship, but for $12 it's not bad. It's beautiful to look at, but right out of the box, one part of the tiara won't connect to the other. I haven't even worn it yet, but I'm pretty sure it's only good for one use. I need it for my birthday on Thursday so can't go back and get a new one, hot glue should do the trick but I wouldn't buy anything else from this company due to the level of craftsmanship.
